Long time reader but first time poster here.
I have a question for you. My mother has a 2009 Corolla and for the past few days the radio controls have been unresponsive. It's stuck on the same volume setting and same FM station. The only controls that seem to work are the radio power and CD eject. If she puts in a CD, it will play it at the same low volume setting, she can't skip tracks either. Ejecting or powering off and on the radio will bring it back to the FM station.
Is this a "known" issue that I would possibly be able to fix myself some weekend or are we SOL without taking it in to be looked at?
Not sure if this is related, but I seem to remember a couple years ago she had a problem for 3 or 4 days where there just seemed to be no power to the radio at all. It resolved itself though and there hadn't been a problem until a few days ago.
Any responses or experiences would be appreciated.
