Unused Connector Under Back Seat

I removed the rear seat from my 2009. There's a wiring harness that I'm guessing goes to the fuel pump. It has an unused connector protruding from the harness. I'm sure it's for a feature that I don't have but does anyone know what it was intended for?

Your guess is as good as mine. The only thing you'll have in that area is the fuel pump and the fuel level sensor. Possible it is for an emissions component that isn't used for Corollas in your particular area. It may also just be an expansion plug.

Could it possibly be for the optional ejection seat or the rear facing .50 caliber machine guns?
