Which Car Has ABS Brakes?

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Toyota Corolla. One big block to buying is a lack of ABS brakes. I read that the Toyota Corolla Ascents do not come standard with ABS brakes. However, there was an optional safety package to add ABS to these base models.

I am browsing cars on Carsales (http://www.carsales.com.au/). My question is, how do I know if the car has ABS brakes?

When you turn the ignition to, "On", there should be a light on the dashboard being lit that says, "ABS".

My 2007 Corolla came with a safety package that had ABS combined withe side air bags. True- many 9th gen Corolla don''t have ABS

My 08 came with a with an optional ABS w/EBD.
