Really? You expect to get $15/Hour for working at a fast food place? Sure, lets increase your pay by almost double. That is, as long as you increase my pay by almost double. After all, I've invested countless days and nights with no sleep in my education and training. Yet you expect to get close to what many Entry-Level Diesel Mechanics (out of trade school) make? Set yourself apart from the average bear and then lets talk about paying you that much.

I bet you can literally see smoke rising off of me right now. This is ludicrous.

I owe $30,000+interest to the government in student loans for my education. I worked and went to school the whole time I was there for a total of about 70 hours a week. I finished as one of the top in the nation out of the 13 campuses nation-wide. I had 3 job official job offers before moving to Chicago to further my education. They ranged from $12/Hour (yeah right, try the next guy buddy) to $21/Hour. The idea that some kid should be able to come out of high school and go work at McDonalds and do a job that the average monkey could do and make more than me is absolutely absurd. It is literally a slap in the face.

Good thing that these people don't understand that if their wages go up, so will everyone else's (including mine).

John, you've got it all wrong.

You see in America now, you don't have to work! You don't have to sacrifice and struggle to get ahead, to live the American dream.

Instead now you can just sit on your butt at home and have everyone else pay for your needs, especially those evil rich people that own McDonalds!

We'll just force them to pay $15 per hour for minimum wage jobs and where does the money come from to pay that $15 per hour you ask? Well...umm...just charge $25 for a cheeseburger...yeah, that'll do it!

You see, I can't pay for a house, food and clothing only making minimum wage, (feel sorry for me!), and that's all I want to do with my life. So, we're going to make everyone else pay for my life instead!

Socialism rules! :thumbdown: :sick:

It's a sick way of thinking, but there really are people who think like that.

Oh I understand that there are people who have this way of thinking. I'm just saying it is ludicrous.

For a fast food franchise to pay $15 per hour minimum wage, this would require laying off many workers as the magic money tree just doesn't have that kind of money to pay everyone. So I guess they want people to lose their jobs!

These people are just incredible!

this was talked about last year the hike, they did get a raise. did they not. So again they will get another increase.

Fast food, no thank you
