Showing off my new 18s, let's see what you guys are riding on.

Man we really strayed from your original post. Lol.
I've got a lot of other stuff to do before I get to a body kit. Lowering springs and rims are next on my list. Oh, and I'm trying to add the turn signals to my mirrors. Bought the lights (oem), need to get the covers and the wiring. That stuff is cheap though. Rims, tires and springs are gonna be close to 2k!
Definitely want that spoiler too, since I don't even have one. Hmmm, Christmas

So, with the 18" wheels you need to go with a lower profile tire correct? Does it make it ride like a buckboard?I have the same wheels as Chris Denton , they are holing up good and I like their looks.

We definitely did go far away from the main subject but whatever haha. Good luck with adding those signals let everyone know how that turns out.

Yes I am going with a lower profile tire and I can feel a little more of the bumps on the road now but it doesn't make the ride uncomfortable at all.

If I didn't camber the rear they would rub plus my tires are stretched. The wheels have a 20mm offset so that is the standard width of that wheel. No spacers with these wheels. I need to roll the rear fender lip just to make sure they don't rub with weight in the back. I did buy some hub rings as the bore of these wheels are 73.1mm so I bought 54.1 ID/73.1 OD Centering Rings. Now the wheel sits on the hub lip instead of the lug nuts.

I think I'll stick with the 18 x 8's
Probably won't need spacers that way and the tires are a little cheaper!
I already bought the centric rings based on manufacturers specifications.
I'm looking at Enkei Rajin 18x8 w/ 40mm offset. But the wider I go the deeper the rims will look. Thanks for your input !

Looks great! Very similar to what I've been looking for. Still have quite a few modifications to install before I get some wheels though. The OEMs aren't that bad! lol
The OEM rims are nice, but too small.
These are taller and wider and dramatically change the handling!
I wanted to fill that wheel well. In hindsight, I should have put 245's on instead of 225's. These are summer tires, so maybe I'll go wider in the fall with some all seasons.
35mm offset fits fine. There is still plenty of room to spare.

Yes I definitely want to upgrade eventually. I'd like to go quite a bit wider.

My problem with the OEM wheels is that every Corolla S has the EXACT SAME WHEEL! I gotta have something different. I'm looking at the HD Spinout with blue machined face in 18x7.5" +40 offset with some 235/40 series tires. Should look something like the attached pic I snagged from the configurator.
Those are nice. Definitely something different.

18x7.5 katana CR5
Found these almost a year ago online but no one had them in stock and I was told they were discontinued. Recently got on ebay and found some available. I snatched them up because these have the exact look I like. No chrome, Not all blacked out, just right amount of machined face, polished lip and black windows to match car. Only thing I dont like is the script on the one spoke and the universal 5 lug patterns. 20170217_063012.jpg 20170124_173621.jpg
