It was probably a taxi cab in it's previous life. We have an over abundance of Corolla cabs in this area. Usually they're red though.

There are YouTube videos on how to replace the steering wheel on Toyota's. I've watched a few but I've not seen any that were specific to the Corolla. Most were on the Tacoma, but there wouldn't be much difference. I think you would need to rent a steering wheel puller from an auto parts store...

If Toyota made a hood like this, I would buy one.

There are many options. A good automotive upholstery shop can re wrap it. There are materials available and videos on YouTube for DIY. (Look up Chris Fix) You can replace the whole thing with either aftermarket or OEM, the latter being about $500 plus labor. Possibly a warranty repair. Or...

My Corolla tells me when it's time. Every 5k. I'm gonna assume that is a US thing? Cause it sounds like not everyone is experiencing the same thing here.

There is a lip for some other kind of car that will fit the Corolla. I don't know which one, but I'm sure someone will reply with the info here shortly. I want to say it's for a VW or maybe a Scion? Can't remember. I'm holding out for the Mapisa body kit.

Can the different parts be purchased separately?

If they are correct, any good shop can do this work for a lot less than the stealership. I don't have any problems with mine yet, but I expect to someday since the car is lowered.

How much money are you willing to throw at it? You can upgrade to LED bulbs or replace the entire unit. All depends on your budget. I upgraded the whole lamp assembly on mine. Cost around $239 for the pair and they're complete plug in units...
