I'm thinking to buy this...from Amazon actually, since I have prime.

When I brake, there's a noise sometimes and it seems like it's up front. The brake pads are fairly new, and nothing seems loose. The strut assembly rubber is ripped...I'm guessing they've never been replaced. I'm thinking to buy 2 off ebay that are compressed and ready. Any suggestions?

Suuuuure you can. Forget the dealer. You can find a good remote for $20 max on ebay. Then get the directions online and program the remote to the car by yourself. Make sure you get the right FCC number. My wife's corolla had no remote either, so I bought one and fixed her up. I also...

For that money, you'll find a better deal on craigslist...way better. Unless you don't have the cash and wanna finance. Still, you should find a better chance at a dealer.

Winter's coming, and I live in NC at 2134' above sea level. It gets cold, icy, and snows inconsistently once in a while. I'm thinking about winter tires that would have better traction on ice and snow. I've never had switched tires on winter before, so I'm not sure which ones would be best...
