Hey there, I have a 2004 RunX 1.4 RS. If i'm in neutral and I rev the engine, the revs stay high for a bit after i've released the pedal. Like there is a delay between me releasing the pedal and the engine realising what the heck is going on. Any suggestions? Could it be the throttle cable...

Turns out it was a loose battery terminal the whole time. Thanks to everyone who offered advice
