I notice the remote keyless entry range was shortened on my 2012 Corolla vs 2010 model. Even the manual says the range is only 2.3 feet from the car. With the 2010 I can usually be 100 feet or more away. The 2.3 feet is ridiculously too close and inconvenient. I replaced battery but that makes no difference. The remotes appear identical inside, I am not sure what is controlling the allowable range. Could it be the programming in the car or the remote? Away I am looking for a way to increase the range and appreciate any suggestions?
