Thirty Six years ago. I remember, vividly, test driving a new Corolla. You wouldn't believe the number of times I have kicked myself for not buying that car. A few years later. I bought a new 4x4 Toy Truck. That thing saved me so much money. Owned it for 13 years and 300 something thousand miles. The money it saved me made it possible for me to buy a home. Now... I've been though alot. Almost died 10 years ago. Lost everything. Little by little doing better. Especially the last ten years. Would tell my late Father... I would be happy with a new Corolla. I don't need no alloy wheels, I don't need no sunroof, I don't need no spoiler. I just need a good car...That's a Corolla. Can't get better transportation than that.
Well... I just bought a used 2014 Corolla LE. It was a lease vehicle. It's Toyota Certified from a dealer. Got a good deal on it. I do have to say it surprised me. It's alot nicer than I expected it to be. Drives really nice. Like a bigger car. I'm loving it already. Driven it two weeks on one tank of gas. Looks like 35mpg(?) on the computer. Will find out tomorrow for sure. I is a very happy camper. I finally got my nice little Corolla. Only took 36 years. Did I say I'm loving it already?
