Rims size 05 corolla

I have a stock 05 corolla with bolt pattern of 5x100 I just bought me xxr 566 model rim 18x8.5 offset is +35. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and I have 15mm wheel adapter What size tire can run without the issue of rubbing, 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 please help thank you

Hello,

First of all I hope your adapter is from 115mm to 100mm because the spacing from the rims are wider so you will only install 3 out of the 5 lug nuts.
Second, the difference between the two size of tires is how wide they are. To be on the safe size choose the 215. Even that you would have more rubber and cornering with the 225 your turning radius will be shorter plus the rubbing on the fender or other inside parts will be greater.
