Signal Lights Are Not Working?

Hello,

I am glad someone referred me to this forum. My problem sounds simple, I guess.

Right and Left signal lights are down on my Corolla 1998; not only all four signal lights are not turning on, but also it doesn't show on the dashboard. How do I fix it myself?

So far I tried and checked:
~ fuses; they seem fine.
~ flasher unit; replaced it with a new one, nothing changed.
~ signal switch handle; disassembled it and cleaned the pins, nothing changed.

all other lights including hazard lights and horn are working just normal.

Please help.

Let me answer my own question as I just was able to fix it. There is a third fuse box located inside instrumental panel in the drive's side [this is not under the hood where the engine is, rather inside the car, under the wheel on the left side, a small instrument box or a small drawer you may call it, right behind it. You should remove it to see the fuse panel]. This is not a flasher which is located way under the dashboard where the brake pedal is... So, the third fuse panel has TURN fuse labeled 7.5. That was blown out. I just changed it and there you go signal lights are on now.

Laura - Thanks for sharing this information with everyone.

The question I see though, is why did the fuse blow out in the first place? Makes me wonder if there is an electrical short somewhere and that could lead to a fire.
