I have a 2009 Matrix 1.8 auto trans. I'm now notice what I believe to be transmisdion whine. I hear it under acceleration. More pronounced as rpm's come up before each gear change. Hardly noticeable at all at cruise when your hardly in the throttle. I Shifted into neutral coming down a hill today and the noise went away. There's 106,000 miles on this trans. Car serviced a month ago and box checked " topped off " on transmission line. Trans never serviced. Went by the manual. Anybody out there had any similar experiences??
