    Maintenance Schedule

Yep, my feeling exactly. http://www.corollaforum.com/showthread.php?t=2524 I just can't believe that a sealed unit's fluid can last a decade or more.

    Maintenance Schedule

I think Donabed's list is good, though I'd figure a CVT fluid change at least at 100k under normal driving conditions. I keep cars to 200k miles +. I can't believe any fluid can last 10+ years. I do need to look into how a sealed CVT transmission's fluid is changed, though. You are right about...

Back Up Camera Not Very Good

I'm going to try that, Donabed. That said, I think the camera is fine as-is. I'm not looking for HD, just to see if there's anything behind me. But this IS my first car that has one as good. Even my 2012 Sienna LE's camera is only credit card-sized and basically useless for someone who needs...

    Foggy Marks Inside Headlights

Mine has the exact same thing, same shape, both sides. (2014 LE)

    LED Headlights

Not a problem really, but a nuisance. I'm finding that many oncoming cars blast their high beams at me at night, apparently thinking that my high beams are on when they're not. I assume it's the brighter LED lights. It's about 25% of oncoming drivers, more when the road is very dark and narrow...

    2014 Fuel Mileage

2014 LE: I'm getting between 35 and 40 mpg, mixed highway and city. I'm a light-foot, and coast when I can. On the highway, I set cruise for 60-65 mph, which makes me the slowest car on the road so I can just cruise non-stop in the right lane. Based on my trip odo and gallons added at refuels.

Which Car Did You Come From?

2003 Buick Century. 160,000 miles, needed new tires, new brakes, a/c compressor, new struts and the gas gauge doesn't work. Now it's my teenage daughter's beat-around-town car. I did fix the brakes first, but she's gotta drive around with the windows down in the summer.

Silly Question - What is This?

I just noticed that my 2012 Sienna also has these gizmos. I didn't notice them before because the car's so much larger...they don't stick out as much as they do on the smaller Corolla. But they are the same size. I have to figure this out

It's the one up by the lights.

Silly Question - What is This?

I only noticed these as I was driving my new 2014 home and stopped to get lunch with my wife. I vote for the "ice/snow from accumulation" response.

    Nervous About CVT

So I took home a new 2014 Corolla LE 2 days ago, after looking at Honda Civics and bouncing 2 Toyota dealers off each other. It does seem to be a great car. My worry is the CVT... is it going to last? This is the first generation Corolla with CVT. All that I care about in a new car is that it...
