I fixed the glowing orange exhaust manifold by putting in a new cat but I still can only use 1/4 of my throttle to gain speed slowly otherwise when I try to go faster my RPM's just keep going up and no speed. Any ideas?

I just bought some aftermarket 18 inch rims for my 1990 toyota corolla sr5. I am wondering because a few people have told me that I should run 215X35R18 tires on those rims. Would they work and not rub?

It is not even 2 months old. It is a gates belt. I tightened the alternator a little bit more today which acts as the tensioner and it does not squeal anymore.

So I did the water trick today and when I sprayed water on it it would stop for a couple seconds then come back. But as I sprayed more water the belt started slipping. Today it squealed but when I hit the gas pedal it would go away and stay away. What could it be?

I recently replaced that belt. The squeal is coming from around the alternator. I will try the water trick tomorrow though.
