    Replacing Front Rotors

I went through diesel mechanic school in California and lets just say that I excelled. I was chosen along with 10 other students across the nation to go to Chicago to do advanced training paid for by Peterbilt. When I finish my 3 months in Chicago I'll be going to a dealership as a factory...

Purchasing a Used Hybrid Vehicle? WARNING!

They had lots of issues with the hybrid batteries before. They seem to be getting better. Tesla recently released all their patents so I expect the batteries in these cars to continue to become more and more reliable in the coming years.

    Steering Shaking at 55 mph

Every car ive found that had the smallest bearing noise could be felt in the spring. When you remove the weight from the spring it just amplifies any vibration/noise.

Lift the front end and throw her in gear. Grab the coil spring with your hand. If you can feel vibrations in the spring, the bearing is shot.

Thats why diesel is awwwwesome. Such a higher flash point. I know guys who weld on full diesel tanks and smoke while working on diesel fuel systems. Would I do it? Hell no. But it's a lot safer.

    Replacing Front Rotors

P.S. I went with the ebc stage 1 rotor and pad kit. They are the smooth surface rotors with a high friction street pad. Essentially they are an upgrade from stock while still lasting a decent amount of time. Im pretty nice to my car so I dont need anything crazy.

    Replacing Front Rotors

Drilled/slotted/dimpled rotors will increase pad wear. That is my sole reason for not using them. Its highly unlikely that you will ever heat your brakes up enough for slotted/drilled rotors to make a difference (unless you rally or race it).

    2010 Corolla S A/C Compressor Problem

Ah, but you can have high resistance in your ground. In which case the voltage would cycle but when the voltage was applied you would still read a partial voltage on the ground side of the circuit. You are correct (Nothing new there) in saying that his clutch is most likely toast.
