It's exactly what I said it was and no, if you press the button it doesn't need immediate professional attention. It simply unlocks the transmission shift lever.

I'm not sure about the keyless start since my car doesn't have that, but the point of the button is so you can shift it into neutral without a key. The little cover only snaps into place so it wouldn't offer any protection.

If I'm not mistaken that will let you change the transmissions gear without the key being inserted if you stick something in it and depress the button inside

I had/have the same issue (2015 corolla 41k miles) dealership said it was a dirty throttle body. The issue persisted after they cleaned it, just not as bad. I did a little research on it and all I could find was people saying the inline 4 engine is just naturally unstable due to the firing...

I just noticed my car was low on washer fluid but it would just spray with a weak stream, I wasn't sure if the fluid was low or if the motors were going out. I added a whole bottle of fluid and sure enough it sprayed normally. Is there no warning or is something not working in my car? 2015...
