That's very low miles in 8 months. Do you do a lot of short trips? According to the manual, short trips qualify for extreme conditions and Toyota recommends 5000 mile oil change intervals.

Standard Toyota Certified comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile bumper to bumper and 7 year / 100,000 mile powertrain. I'm not sure if your 'Certified Platinum' takes the bumper to bumper coverage to the 7 year / 100,000 mile. I would imagine your documentation would list what is covered and what...
