Reduce the brightness in the screen settings. There is a separate setting for the camera. I brought it down all the way and it help a lot.

I think the DTE is off as my MPG calculations never match the cars. I never use it plus I just fill it up at 1/4 tank anyways. Especially during winter.

Temperature also makes a difference in MPG. I usually get 2-3 MPG worse in the winter than summer.

Here is a copy of what they did to my car for the JSD. Something about poor calibration and looks to be around 1200 RPM. Thought it may help some of you.

I just bought mine end of October. It was certified and according to Toyotas website, my car received the JSD. I never got to drive my car before it was done so I cannot compare how much better the cvt opporates. But in its current state, the cvt works just fine.

What type of driving are you doing? Mainly highway, city, or mixture of both? I get about 28mpg with a lot of short trips in a small town. On long trips I get mid 30's.

Does the car downshift into first gear?

2011 S that had 96,000 miles till a deer killed it. That car was a on a roll to put on a lot of miles. Ran very well for it's age and miles. Replaced by a '17 LE with 30,000.
