Tires can be checked for wheel balancing and out of round, or broken belts with a dial gauge on a wheel balance machine. The very expensive Road Force machines can also do this. I've never, ever, seen or heard of a new car dealer's service department that knows a darned thing about tires.

Check your receipt. Also look at the wheel weights on the rims and see if they are new or not.

But we don't know yet if the tires are actually causing the problem?

The tires will be covered under warranty and replaced at no charge, if they are the problem. Have you had the alignment checked on a computerized four-wheel alignment machine?

Folks, don't make the mistake of writing off every single tire model in the lineup of a given tire company because of inadequate experiences with only one particular model of tire. Original equipment tires, regardless of the company who manufactured them, don't tend to be very good.

Anything from Bridgestone or B.F.Goodrich for the aforementioned reasons. :) As for size, I'd stick with the stock size.

I know someone who can punch you in the face too for only $101. :D:laughing: I have sold those tires and have seen many come back with various problems, particularly out of found. I recommend to avoid anything with that name on it.
