Keep in mind that this situation could mean the air conditioning system has a leak and the freon is leaking out. Do you know if they specifically checked the system for freon leaks? This takes special air conditioning equipment to do this.

To get back on topic, my brother has an older Corolla with exactly the same problem. All motor mounts were replaced yet the problem persists. This seems to be a common problem with older Corolla's. It would be nice to get to the bottom of this problem.
