You never mentioned anything about a connecting rod. The way you worded it is that the oil somehow at a hole into the engine block, which would be impossible of course. lol :D

Also, I am a state licensed safety inspector and in any state with annual state safety inspections the seat belts must be in proper working order or the vehicle will not pass inspection. I recommend you have a sit down talk with your wife and tell it like it is.
