Since it's been a while since you posted this, how's the car doing so far? Any body or interior work done yet?

Isn't the light completely sealed? Or is that only the '17 and up? And what is the expected life with these leds?

The worst car I've driven have been a 2002 and 2016 Nissan Sentra. Horrible ride, non-existent handling, terrible cvt (2016)... I could go on for a while.

Have you looked for signs of a cracked head gasket? Smoke you see smoke in the exhaust? Have you removed spark plugs to verify that no coolant is present? I saw another post her about a fuel filter being clogged.

What music app/provider are you streaming with? Phone?

Also, look to see if your car is listed for the reprogram recall.

Usually if a battery lasts 5 years, I replace it. Rather have a fresh battery than be stranded.

My recently purchased '17 Corolla got the CVT update during it's certification process. I verified this on Toyota's website. I did drive a '16 Scion iM and it's transmission felt different than the Corolla I bought. I assume they are the same transmission.
