If your Corolla is new, than this is normal. There are coatings and oils from the manufacturing process that will burn off over time. I have a Ford Transit van that is almost two years old, that still does this. (I have a Corolla too!)

No discernible difference. Might be shifting at slightly higher RPM's. Gas mileage seems unaffected. Throttle response is a touch quicker. This is after about two hours of (my) "normal" driving !

Make sure you have a good ground connection! I had to use star washers to get a good bite between the bracket and the frame. I didn't want to scrape any paint off where it would be visible.

If there is a seat problem causing the fabric to rip, then yes. It should be covered under the standard warranty. I would think it should be covered regardless, you would think that the materials used would at least outlast the warranty. Stop by your dealer and ask them.

That should be the correct part number for 2014-2016 Corolla's. Does your vehicle have the GPS antenna installed on the roof, by the back window?

All I did was install it so far. I ran the car for about ten minutes to make sure that it was working properly. Throttle response is a little quicker. I probably won't drive it until the weekend, unless it snows. But I'll keep ya updated!

Update, this looks good and all but it's too thick. Made the hood rise about a 1/4" in the front. I didn't like that so I took it off and put the sport bra back on for now.

That screw that looks loose on the back of the horn can be used to adjust the tone and decibel. btw
