Go further back in the forum pages. I added the factory high note horn to mine. But others have replaced with Hella horns.

Mine started when I added tweeters in the C pillars. What you said makes sense. In my case the tweeter signal is probably interfering with reception.

I bought the OEM sport brake pedal cover for the Lexus IS. It's a little bit larger than the Corolla pedal, on the sides. I wouldn't recommend it for that reason. But it hasn't slipped off... yet. I have ordered a set from AliExpress that is for the Corolla. Says no drill and doesn't have those...

Not going to help you but my 2014 is doing similar things with poor reception.

Sounds like the fuel system is re pressurizing? This is the first time I've heard the Corolla do it. Car has been sitting turned off for maybe six hours. Temp around 50°

This is not the first Toyota that I have owned that makes this sound, but does anyone know for sure what it is and doing? Doesn't bother me in the slightest but I am curious. Our Highlander did/does the same thing. (Lives outside now)
