For safety wise. A piece of tape over the sensor. Black tape , and the the actual lights will be on. to stop the night time lights, unplug the sensor

Think only the dealer can do it, short of unplugging the sensor (and depending on the logic, might force the lights to stay on at all times).

More or less you will have to go under the dash to get to, and I like said tape forces lights on. that may be a safer way, then trying to get under and oops pulled the wrong wire?

There is a relay, that can be heard, if found you can resolve it that way.

That is the headlight relay. Pulling that means they won't work at all.

Normally there are fuses for DLR. look for them.

I'm sure you have already fixed your issue. However, I researched a long time ago that a specific blue wire directly behind the glove box door is what runs power to the drls and automatic lights. I snipped the wire and ran wire nuts on the ends of the cut wire. Never had another issue.

but install a switch... so's I can have it either way
