Using the correct tool. I am sure if you incorrectly take off a tab may snap. I guess you want to do what with it dip it? paint it?

the video is a good one. If what you want to do is remove the plastic "gate" twist off the the knob and the gate should come off somewhat like the rest of the trim. Very easy, however I have a manual so less things to pull off.

ok, and is it difficult to put all the pieces back togather? and by taking them off, do i have a high chance of damaging anything inside or its no harm to remove those pieces.

?? now your talking steering wheel, That I don't know. I would hazard a guess that it is possible to remove the trim without removing the airbag but I don't know for sure. I'm sure there is video on you tube about it.

Thats what I thought, but a lot of the seat covers states they are compatible with airbags. so I am trying to figure out how that works and is it legit.
