Hello guys my name's Alex and I just bought a 2000 corolla.
But I didn't know it was draining the battery.
It dies fast, as soon as I turn it off It struggles to crank on.
It didn't do that when we test drove it.
Also my radio, clock and dome are not working.
I read that they all run of the same fuse which was blown
So I inserted a new one and blows immediately.
The car is equiped with a automatic light sensor
which I believe is draining the battery because
the headlights are always on thanks to THAT sensor.
It also has DRLs I removed the drl relay and the lights are still on.
I removed the fuses for both headlights and they are still on.
I'm thinking the auto light sensor I causing problems.
Are these three problems related?
If anyone has any idea or suggestions....
The car is all stock.
Does any one know where I can find a dyi thread
on how to disable drl and auto light sensor?
I haven't taken it to auto zone to check the battery yet.
