Clutch Slave Cylinder?

#1
It almost looks like they are using an integrated slave cylinder/throwout bearing similar to the MTX-75 transmissions that Ford had on the 2.0 Zetec. I hope I'm wrong or that if Toyota went with it, they beefed it up. Those designs hate power shifts.

I see the bleeder, and the line going into a rubber grommet, that's it. Anyone work at Toyota that can get a picture of it?

I took advantage of my 2-day subscription and confirmed what I thought. This is an integrated clutch slave cylinder/throw-out bearing. What does this mean?

1. If you change your clutch, change the slave cylinder (the manual recommends it as well).
2. Durability is questionable; however, the unit looks more sturdy than the Ford units in the MTX-75.
3. I'd make sure they prove themselves before going with an aftermarket clutch with increased pedal effort.
