Headlight Chime

Greetings. Is there a way to turn on/off the headlight 'on' chime that beeps when headlights are accidentally left on manually, and key is removed? The reason I ask is mine does not work, it did until a couple weeks ago and am wondering if I unknowingly turned it off or it just failed. Also is there a 'battery saver' or any device that will shut them off..and same question for map/dome lights? Thank You.

My '08 Matrix didn't have a battery saver feature, so it isn't likely your Corolla will. As far as the chime, it can't be disabled. Do any other chimes (like the seatbelt warning) work?
