i just bought corolla 2011
yesterday i buy oil filter with two o-ring one of them is small
the guy put small one below (under) oil filter and the other out in his place like video i seen
problem is i dont see small o-ring in any video
is this can damage engine

I've never seen a small O Ring on the 2ZZ engine oil filter housing, just the large one for the housing cap. He shouldn't be installing one inside the filter housing. It isn't needed and can actually damage the filter as the housing is tightened. The oil filter itself comes with built in gaskets.

My video shows exactly what to do, there is two things that get done.

A) washer on drain plug

B) O-ring on filters canister

No Small O-ring

Unless you have a picture of this, and am sure you can supply one, so we can see it
