Hi Toyota lovers
I have just bought a Corolla 2000 1.4 ( the one with the indicators in the front wings) ?
and my question is it came with two different keys one for the doors and other ignition IF i was to buy a full lock set either new or from a breakers because they are chipped so I'm told will it need to be programmed or will it work straight away please if anyone can help on this one.

The keys will need to be programmed. You could also have a locksmith adjust the cylinder so the same key works for both again.

Personally, I like the separate keys. You can get an extra door only key in case you accidentally lock your keys in your car and it will be slim enough to fit in your wallet.

Hi Thanks for your reply I think that i will follow your suggestion and keep it as two keys :yes:
