Oxygen Sensor

#1
I have a 2005 Toyota Corrola, 122k miles, the "engine check" light came on last week and we took it in for a diagnostic check, they said that it was a "Oxygen sensor" and they "Zeroed" the Engine light and said if it happened again to bring it in. 2 days ago it came on again. The engine runs fine. I am ordering the part from the US because I am in Germany for 36$. It is 150-200Euro in Germany. It will take 2wks to get here. Is it okay to drive the car in the mean time or should I borrow someone else's because I could "ruin my catalitic converter"? Thanks,

Oxygen Sensor means nothing. There are dozens of codes related to oxygen sensors that can be caused by the sensor itself, worn catalytic converter, bad wiring, a vacuum leak, etc,.

You need to get the actual code before I can say if the car is safe to drive or anything else about what is wrong. They start with a P, followed by 4 digits.
