My plan is to relocate the battery and ECU.
The battery will be in the trunk while the ECU will be in the firewall inside the car.

How thick and how long should the wiring for the terminals of the battery?
What is the specific brand for the wirings for the battery?
Is there an extension for the ECU?
What brand is it?

Thanks.

And if you live in an area with smog laws/controls that can also be a hassle to do it in such a way that'll it still pass smog so it can be registered. Recently I've been sort of looking for an old Supra to play with and have found a lot of Supra's with engine swaps for cheap on CL in my area (So.Cal.) because their 'new' engine won't pass smog thus the car can't be registered for the street. Sort of a 'buyer beware' thing.

In California, you can smog a car with a swapped engine as long as the engine originated in the same year as the car or newer.

For instance, you could put a 2ZR-FE into an '08 Corolla and it would be legal.

Puttling a 1ZZ-FE into an '09 Corolla would be illegal.

DK, you're right. I know that but a lot of other people seem not to, and some of their rides are on CL for cheap
