    2005 Corolla TS - Review

I don't know what the description says. My advice would be to compare it to other cars to make sure you aren't being overcharged, and to look over everything. Check the body lines to make sure they line up, verify the paint matches, check the oil and the transmission fluid to verify that there...

How to Remove Four Wheels At Once?

I've had that happen to me too when I got stuck changing a flat tire. Luckily the spare was on and I was getting ready to lower it anyway. I would never get underneath a car supported by a scissor jack.

How to Remove Four Wheels At Once?

No ... what works best ... are jackstands.

I Need Your Help - Dealer Runaround Two Service Calls So Far

This happens on all LE Eco models so it is most likely normal and a trick to squeeze out a couple extra mpgs from the engine.

    TPMS Trouble

That I am not sure about, and it may be possible that a metal strap would cause interference.

    Documentation on the Toyota Corolla

It is not official, and I don't know of anybody on this forum that is close or works for Toyota. Sorry man.

Adding Rear View Camera in Existing Navigation System

There is no auxiliary video or reverse position trigger, so you won't be able to install it into the existing navigation system. However, there are aftermarket kits that display the video feed in the rear view mirror.

    ATF Replacement Cycle?

The 6.9 quarts, I imagine, is with a filter change and a full flush and fill (this includes the torque converter).

    TPMS Trouble

I've rotated tires and never had a problem with the TPMS system. The TPMS button sets the current pressure to the PCM. The programmer puts the TPMS transponder codes into the PCM if the sensors are changed. The TPMS sensors are coded so that interference or signals from non-matching TPMS...

    TPMS Trouble

If they did damage them, then you gotta have the shop replace them. I would take it to them and show them that the TPMS sensors are failing and get them to fix it.

1998 LE - Speed Sensor Problem

You'll have to inspect the wiring for damage and inspect the connectors for a lose or bent pin. Another thing you can do is disconnect the ground on the battery, and then use a multimeter to check the resistance of the wire, and tugging on it while doing so to see if the resistance changes...

    TPMS Trouble

Wait until it stops blinking and then try it ... but the fact that the light blinks for a minute and then stays on isn't good. Were you gentle on the sensors when mounting them? They may be damaged.

    Rear Speakers

Sucks about the trim but at least you fixed it, LOL! How does it sound with the new rear speakers?

    ATF Replacement Cycle?

If the car doesn't have a trailer hitch attached to it, then chances are the conditions that would warrant an automatic transmission fluid change are not needed. You can, however, change it for peace of mind. It's not like you can change it too often, so you're good there. I know newer cars...

    Documentation on the Toyota Corolla

You'd more than likely have to try to get in touch with an engineer at Toyota headquarters. You'd be able to find the thermal conductivity of the exhaust pipe in a materials engineering manual if you knew the exact metal it was made of (I know it is stainless steel but not sure which type).

    2003 Type S - No Compression

That's why I'm leaning toward a sticky valve. When engie is at rest the compressed air shuts it. When the engine is starting they stick and never fully close before re-opening. Only way to tell would be to remove the valve cover, remove the fuel pump relay and ignition relay, and turn the engine...

    Manual 6-Speed

Overreving? I'm not following you. If there is overreving occuring during a shift it is because you are on the throttle when you shouldn't be as well as not fully disengaging the clutch (you should only use throttle during a downshift, not an upshift) Also, thanks stusmith for the props.

    TPMS Trouble

You took the old sensors from the OEM wheels and put them in the aftermarket wheels? If that is the case, set inflation to your preference, then open the glove box, and on the left, you'll see the TPMS button. Turn to ignition on (DO NO START THE CAR) and hold the TPMS button until it blinks...
