For some people, they are willing to pay that price of losing longevity to turbocharge, even if it is just a Corolla... A few people run 8 p.s.i. no problem for many years.

Not about the warranty. You build a car that only lasts to 60,000 miles and you go out of business. Plus, Toyotas Corollas are always a little more than say, a Focus, Dart, etc. Why? Toyota builds them to last and that is in the price. That's what you pay for when you buy a Toyota.

Pay the extra money. Last thing you want is a flying roof rack to hit the car behind you. And that will cost a lot more money than the savings of the semi-universal versus the made-to-fit.

I do both. I love performance, and I don't mind the car looking different from all of the other ones on the road.

Sounds like the guy you bought it from drove it hard. When you buy a car with 100k+ miles, the previous owner determines the fate of the car at that point. If he beat on it the entire time and rarely maintained it, the wear and tear is irreversible.

Speed sensor connect to the PCM, then the PCM tells the speedometer how much to move. Since you have transmission issues, resitance check the wiring from the VSS to where it hooks into the PCM. If you get OL, wire needs to be replaced.

You may noy have to buy them. Have a mechanic take a look at them. If you don't have prior experience with brakes, I don't recommend attempting to replace them yourself.

Slim, headlight adjustment isn't done on vehicles with LED or HID so that Toyota is not liable for drivers that crash because of being blinded by a mal-adjusted headlamp. Look at the headlight yourself. No adjustment screws whatsoever. Gotta fight them for it or go above their head.

Scott, increases durability and reduces warranty repairs for those that drive aggressively. Building a transmission to JUST handle the stock engine is not how you produce a transmission that will last 200,000 miles or more.

If you are slowly going from drive to park, the jerking may be reverse engaging then disengaging.

I have only been flashed once, but I live in a major city around hundreds of thousands of other cars with LED or HID headlights, so drivers here are probably used to it.

This assembly is non-adjustable. Was the car in an accident? If not, then I agree that the LED headlight bulb got lose somehow and that oughta get warranty repaired.

That's the override in-case a faulty brake switch or bad relay prevents you from pulling the car out of park. You'd push the button underneath that cover and hold it.
