Also the dealership Cleared the codes I earlier had gotten at AutoZone, because I went back to AutoZone After my daughter got back from the dealer and ran another scan, same sales person same scan tool. So I send my kid out to the dealer. She comes back from the dealer and tells me that there is nothing wrong with the car. That the Service manager told her that they ran a scan and it checked out ok and "she is just not used to a CVT transmission". I called the dealership Service manager who...

Yeah, ok *recommended* Maintenance light comes on at around every 4800 miles traveled, makes sense. *Check* fluids and top off as needed, rotate tires and adjust floor mats (that one kind of burns me up), etc. Yeah, it's a *Maintenance* light Not a Time to Change Oil Light. Really think of All...

2006 Corolla LE - MPG Decrease

"O2 sensor: wouldn't the check engine light come on?", I'm not absolutely sure. But with lower mpg and over 100K miles, Me? I would at least clean them. Also I would clean the throttle body/intake and put new plugs along with a synthetic oil and filter change. I would run a scan though first to...

Oil Change Before Warning Light or Right After?

On both my '09 Corolla and '03 4Runner the *Maintenance* light comes on at around every 4850 miles traveled. Manual recommends changing @ 5000 miles. On my '15 I don't know when the *Maintenance* light comes on. It *should* come on at around 8500 miles since the manual *recommends* changing...

    Hi

Congratulations! Toyotas are good cars. You can make them last forever. $5k ain't bad for a Corolla that's been well taken care of (as long as You do the same). How do the front brake rotor and pads look?

1999 Corolla - Spark Plug Metal Ring Stuck on Thread

Just for the heck of it I'd go to the auto parts store and check the so-called pre-gap on a couple of brands. The one out of box that matches what the pre-gap size on the box or web site says I'd be willing to trust their quality a little more.
