    2017 transmission fluid change

It's in the warranty and maintenance guide. (You don't mention if it's a CVT or a manual). If CVT, see procedure below. https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/t/correct-procedure-oem-to-change-cvt-fluid-oil-in-altis-grande-1800-cc-2zrfe-transmission-k313/995963 The engine is the same, not the...

Corolla 2016 - Beep sound and stop music note sign in audio player when car starting

It means that no audio player (or a player mode from a phone) is connected. This display can be set in Setup-Bluetooth. The beep, I have no idea.

Anyone pick up the new hybrid Corolla?

The hybrid market doesn't necessarily have the same priorities ;) (not to mention that those "dinky" wheels do serve a purpose) plus this Corolla hybrid has to be as affordable as possible, replacing the Prius C in this market. That being said "X" equivalent variants (and maybe plug-in) will...

2020 SE manual: mechanical/electrical noise when car is off

Actually, it has been in cars for more than 15 years (since OBDII - 1996) but might have got unnoticed since the procedure may vary according to manufacturer and in all cases it only occurs when certain conditions are met (fuel level, outside temp, mileage since last check, etc.). I couldn't...

2020 SE manual: mechanical/electrical noise when car is off

A bit of both as this has been on many cars for many years but I'm also in the bizarre minority that do read instruction manual o_O (I mean when I get the car, not just when something happen).

11th Gen TAXIS and RIDE SHARE

Yes, that's one thing I've noticed around here (Montréal, Québec) and kind of reassuring : lots of Corolla, Camry and Prius (mostly V), some electric cars (Tesla, Kia) and... Buick (apparently not all GM are created equals).

2020 SE manual: mechanical/electrical noise when car is off

Perfectly normal. From your owner manual p. 6 "Approximately five hours after the engine is turned off, you may hear sound coming from under the vehicle for several minutes. This is the sound of a fuel evaporation leakage check and, it does not indicate a malfunction."

    CVT Transmission Service

As far as I know, it's about retrieving codes, especially about temperature peaks, a critical data to insure the fluid wasn't compromise at some point. And visual inspection for leaks. Not a big deal all in all.

    CVT Transmission Service

The owner manual doesn't, but the maintenance guide that comes with the car (at least came with mine) also says to inspect fluid every 30K (and decide, I assume, except for severe service which recommend a change at 60K). It's the same whether AT or CVT.

Towing with a 2015 cvt corolla

The risk would be the same, whether CVT or regular AT : torque converter damage and mostly overheating, ruining fluid. By the way, that's what pleagued those infamous first Nissan's CVT (towing or not): bad firmware heat management resulting in fluid foaming, slowly "gluing" internal components...

    CVT Transmission Service

Actually, that's what Toyota's maintenance schedule says: 30K for manual, 60K for CVT/automatic.

    60K Service (2015 Corolla - Manual Transmission)

You may first ask the dealer what they do for $279.99. The 60K maintenance is about what you describe but may also include transmission fluid change (every 30K if you follow "severe" schedule). It also depends on what you did or not before. In case your car didn't come with the maintenance...

    2016 S-plus or 2016 S-premium?

Plus and Premium have different options : go with what you wish as long as you know the history of each. Side note : no leather in any Corolla. It's some kind of polyester/vinyl called " SofTex".

    2020 2.0L -- MPG check

I don't know specifically for the 2020 Corolla, but in other cars that do this, it's a configurable setting somewhere (after filling, reset A or B or A+B) Never force it, as there is a risk of flooding the canister. Now, if you mean that it did that in the first place - even with the tank...

    CVT Transmission Service

Yes : it mentions to check every 30K and change at 60K (for severe usage). It's the same indication for any auto/CVT trans from Toyota. 30K sound a bit overkill - more like for a manual transmission - but like early oil change, if it brings nothing, it also can't hurt !

    2020 2.0L -- MPG check

Not sure about the 12th gen, but I'd assume that "latest" is equivalent to "average" (in history tab) of the 11th gen which gives you an estimate since last "reset" (or "clip"). It will vary from "average" (not in history tab) depending on what kind of driving conditions were encountered since...

Towing with a 2015 cvt corolla

It all depends on how heavy it is total... In North America, Toyota advise against towing but with the same Corolla with CVT in other countries they mention 900 lbs. The rest is up to you.

2014 Corolla stereo screen gone white.

Some Entune premium units seem prone to freezing. Some never find a solution, some do by updating the map SDcard with a new one an others by doing what's in that video. Good luck !

2020 Corolla CVT, 0 to 60 acceleration time for each engine?

It's hard to find since Toyota doesn't publish it and only some magazines test it, because it's not that relevant in real world driving. Furthermore it implies a lot of variables so two tester on the same session might get different results... Anyway, I've read anywhere between 8.0 to 8.6...

2020 Corolla SE Sedan City MPG

16 city is quite low indeed. I don't have an explanation except "mpg will vary" and have it checked if needed. But I just want to point out that EPA ratings are useful to compare models, but are in no way a warranty of what one will get in real life. Some will do worst, some will do better. For...
