    Service campaign fix record lookup?

Yes. Didn't know then, that you were from Canada. JSD or L34 are about the same service anyway and I see you managed to find the recall page on the canadian site. We once had a Canadian equivalent to the US page where you could track past appointments/services of the car but for whatever...

    Service campaign fix record lookup?

Yes, if it doesn't appear on https://www.toyota.com/recall than it was done by the previous owner (or not require). When I had mine done, the message indeed disappeared from look-up tool the next day. It's been more than a year for this campaign, the previous owner had all the time to do it !

Opinion on this certified 2019 Corolla?

Provided you know the state and history of the car, maybe. Low mileage might mean a demo, or an unsatisfactory returned car. That's to check. Also, the 2019 sedan is now giving place to the 2020, a completely new car. So shopping around, you may even find an as good/better deal on a brand new...

    2ZR-FE Turbo Kit

The CVT is from Aisin, which actually belong to Toyota. With such big corporations and subsidiaries, I guess unless you do reach some engineer who worked on the project, not everybody in the box is aware of details on everything.

Beep sound when shifting to park

Some alarm bug ? Squeak from a door lock (if they are set to lock/unlock on shift) ? Puzzling !

    Navigation updater?

To know if recall/services are required, toyota has a page where you can check (enter the VIN) https://www.toyota.com/recall The button you describe, not sure at all but it looks more like an aftermarket alarm some dealers install, trying to force you to pay to activate it. Especially since the...

Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

No before/after difference in my case and apparently for most. A slight (better performance) for some : maybe placebo or the trans was really needing it ! Remember that if the trans has already suffer the premature wear the service campaign prevent, replacement is provided.

    Radio/Display turn off completely?

2014 here so slightly different but normally pressing "setup" or "home" button (depending on model) should bring a menu with a "screen off" at the bottom. Press setup or home again to bring back on.

    HIGHEST MILEAGE 11TH GEN.

It does exist in the maintenance schedule although vague (and it's the same as Toyota's regular AT) : check every 30K and act appropriately with mandatory change at 60K for "severe usage".

    SHAMEONYOUTOYOTA

I think it's a pretty known issue with Toyota's Entune 2.0 units with navigation (not just Corolla). Maybe that's why they went from QNX to Linux OS for Entune 3.0. Not sure if it really help, but I hear some had success with a SDcard map update and others with this guy trick from another thread.

    Magnets on CVT oil pan?

Our CVT, like most transmissions, already has pan magnet in it so that kind of answer your question.

    2017 Corolla LE uncomfortable seats

Same suggestion here. I have nothing bad to say about the seats (I do like firm, but it's personal preference) except on its lower position. Rising it give me better thighs angle and support (and still enough headroom for my 6' body)

On the fence, Prius or Corolla

A new Corolla might also be an option if you want to buy right now : as the new generation 2020 is arriving, the 2019 sedan left on dealers lot might have a great price, not much higher than a certified with the advantage of new and warranty. A 2020 Corolla hybrid might also be an option : a...

    Transmission fluid change

Actually, "lifetime fluid" is more of a urban legend that is nowhere to be found in Toyota's litterature, possibly coming from the notion of "sealed unit" (most modern transmission, whether AT or CVT, are of that type, without dipstick) and the vagueness of Toyota's own maintenance guides which...

    Tpms sensor

Broken how ? The hardware in the car (less likely) or one or more transmitters in the wheels ? If you still have the dash light (either flashing or eventually staying on) it's most likely a wheel transmitter thing. They generally last long, but it could be a weak transmitter battery or another...

    Transmission fluid change

The mechanic is wrong (didn't want to bother with it that day ?) and the second dealer is only partially right. The owner manual (maintenance guide) say to change it at 60K but for severe usage. Otherwise, inspect every 30K.

    New Corolla (hatch) 2019 official

Only SE/XSE models though. All others (read: more affordable) keep the engine/CVTi-S of the current generation. He'll be happy: the function can be deactivate. :p
