    Higher profile tires on a '16 S?

"Profile" is the hight of sidewall (vs the wheel itself), not to be confused with wheel size. 225/50/17 actually have a lower profile than stock 205/55/16. The hole assembly has to remain about the same size, so wheel gap filling is rather a perception than reality. "Lower profile" means bigger...

I'm not sure what you call this...

Rear deflector plate Not suppose to move You might hear a scratching noise (a warning that you're too close, better from this than some mechanical part !) but the car won't be "hung up" on a soft plastic piece.

    Driving long distance on spare

Whether in the manual or anywhere else, there is no specific answer except "for the shortest distance possible, at lowest speed possible". Remember that the general behavior of the car might be different, including electronic nannies (ABS, VSC, et)

    tpms

Yes the only button is in the glove panel. If this doesn't work (light may take a little while to go off) then one or more of the sensors are defective or missing. Also, if one or more has been replaced, the system may have to be program to recognize it (dealer thing).

    tpms

Blinking then staying on generally indicates a problem with one or more of the wheel sensors. Mine does that when I put my winter wheels (because of no sensor at all on those). I don't think the spare has a sensor. Try a reset first. If it doesn't work, then maybe one or more of the sensors is...

    CVT load

The Prius CVT (planetary) is different from the Corolla (belt-pulley). The belt is always steel for CVTs in cars. The reliability is great, nevertheless : the Aisin-Toyota in Corolla has been used for 6 years worldwide, 4 in NA, without any surge in complaints. The availability of used ones is...

Is 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA iM OR 2017 TOYOTA PRIUS THREE ,??WHICH IS BETTER CAR TO OWN

Previous gen Prius were indeed pretty lame, but the 4th gen is widely said to be much better with the TNGA platform (same as new Camry and next gen Corolla). So, in a word, I don't think it's the case anymore. As far as passenger room, its a strong point for Corolla sedan (close to Camry...

    hell yeah!!!

Well you're talking about a car that's more than twice the price of the Corolla. The Corolla is great for what it is, a very decent econobox appliance. Invest that kind of money in it then, maybe... But what's the point ? Beside sharing the name and shell of the Focus, the RS is in an...

Is 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA iM OR 2017 TOYOTA PRIUS THREE ,??WHICH IS BETTER CAR TO OWN

There is no such thing as a "better" car except in consideration of your own needs. Corolla iM is cheaper, a bit long in the tooth (if it's important for you to have the last thing on the market) but an excellent, quite comfortable and reliable car with great MPG. The 2017 Prius is newer (on the...

    PM CVT Trans

I think you mean no dipstick on the CVT (not the engine). A lot of trans, not just CVTs are now like this. This video gives an idea of how to do this (not about a CVT trans, though)

I'm not sure what you call this...

I think they are named "fender liner pad" and yes it's part of the aerodynamic under the car Indeed the effect of the individual part would not be noticeable (just like the little fins sculpted on mirrors and lights assembly). A member of this forum mentioned taking them off without any...

Who prefers LE front over S

Actually the S is 132 HP, just like L/LE... but a tad slower with bigger wheels and a tad "funnier" with different logic for the CVT (sport mode, paddle shifting). Oddly, it's the LE Eco that has 140 HP, same aero gimmicks underneath and little lip spoiler as S but better MPG and 1 second less...

    2017 special edition Corolla

As other mentioned : it works if you are in range of an HD stations plus this station has to convey the data signal. Just like RDS with FM, not all of them do. With Entune app on your phone, it is suppose to take the relay then. At data cost...

HELP: HIGH RPM & slow speed while driving Downhill

Glad that "constant" mode works fine. That still leaves the problem on "radar" mode though. Maybe longer distance setting would help but any mode should work OK (you paid for it !) I still suspect radar being confused by hitting either road at an angle, oncoming traffic or even road signs, and...

HELP: HIGH RPM & slow speed while driving Downhill

You're welcome ! At least trying the "constant" mode might help to pinpoint the problem to "radar" function, if such is the case. Also play with distance sensitivity on "radar". Also see if regular (lower rpm) vs sport mode (higher rpm) makes a difference. (No ECO mode indeed except in LE Eco...
