    2014 s with acceleration issues

If it's a "S" then it's a CVT, not an automatic. Yes, it's easier to change the unit, as rebuilding it in a shop would have a high cost in time. Though if it's just a solenoid, it might be workable otherwise.

    2009 Corolla LE CVT transmission?

No car have used rubber belt CVTs since the 1958 Daf, I think. They all use chain-belt (it's really not a cable, since the belt has to be side-pushed). Audi used an original mesh design but the composition remain the same. The idea of a belt might raise an eyebrow, but you'll notice that the...

What type of gas are y'all putting in the tank?

As Klinetime574 said. Quality of the gas (ideally without ethanol) is more important. Beside this Corolla, I've always put 87 in the cars I've owned (except one that specifically required 91) without any "complaints from the car". Per the manual, your engine is designed to use it and, at least...

    2009 Corolla LE CVT transmission?

CVTs in Corolla were only introduced in late 2013 in NA (late 2011 elsewhere). Old 4AT is still available in basic models (whatever they name it : "L" in US. "CE" in Canada).

2014 Corolla Window Fog / Condensation

If there is a lot of humidity in the car (any car, not just Toyota), it will condense on a cold windshield. So max AC won't help. It's the opposite. If the humidity source is in the car, you want the "recirculate" button off to get dryer air from outside. Vice versa if the humidity comes from...

    cvt transmission fluid check

No way. Either a misunderstanding or a scam. Should the CVT needs - in the sense of absolutely has to have it - a fluid change so soon then there is a problem with it and should indeed be covered by warranty. Otherwise Toyota's own schedule maintenance per the owner booklet says a check...

    Corolla Customization

Actually, all Toyota's CVTs are called "CVTi-S" regardless of the model. It's a brand name standing for "intelligent shift", not sport. All have fake shift points for "sensation" (Toyota's own words) as many people still associate wrongly, by habit, "slipping", "rubber band" or "drone noise" to...

    toyota corolla 2015 cvt

Yes, steel belt. I don't think many models, if any, use rubber belt since the 1958 Daf. Nothing to worry, it's a Toyota-Aislin unit. They have been producing CVTs for 16 years (5 for the current Corolla units - 3 in NA) without any surge/pattern in complaints (GM-Fiat, Nissan, Honda and Audi...

    2015 Corolla S Front Driver's Seat Adjustment

I don't get it : I'm 6'1" and the seat all the way back is... too way back for me. I guess you have a particular driving position.

Does anyone else corolla burns gas fast ?? I have a 2016

A possibility is that the average MPG display was reset and is taking only a shorter period (with less favorable characteristics) in account. You have to see in the long time.

2016 Carolla L Airbag Light Coming On

Actually, the light on means that you are more at risk of it not deploying than blowing in your face . Could be a lot of things from a bad or displaced connector (for instance by something pushed under the seat) or a sensor (and from passenger seat to many places on the body of the car or...

    2017 Corolla LE Revealed

As mentioned elsewhere, although the general shape looks similar, they are quite thinner with the narrow part being much longer than on 201-2016.. So you'd have to change the hole front of the car !

2016 Corolla S break in period?

Of course ! Just avoid going 85 mph on cruise control for 4 hours straight ;). Try to vary between say 50-70 mph (90-110 kph) every now and then and go for gradual acceleration / stopping.

2016 Corolla S break in period?

The OM (at least canadian) is rather specific on break-in, albeit with a very short list of "not to do". That's modern cars. Same goes for early oil change : no more necessary but you'll get polarized opinion on that. Personally I go according to OM. If the trans is a CVT, leave it alone ...

    Alarm triggers out of nowhere

So no, you wouldn't have any setting on the car itself. It's completely aftermarket. The brand is not that important, those "pushed" products aren't the best and some dealer bulk install them on every unit on the lot, so it's not always done carefully. I assume they didn't gave you an operating...

    Alarm triggers out of nowhere

By car alarm, do you mean one pre-installed by the dealer that they dare call OEM and then ask money to "activate" them ? (They often are of the "Karr" brand, cheap, inefficient and overpriced). If so that's your answer. Otherwise I'm not aware of a car alarm (other then immobilizer) in the Corolla.

    2015 OR 2016 Corolla S Plus.

It's the exact same car. No benefit but a lot of depreciation... Unless you're talking going from S base to S Plus or Premium. But even then, some fancy options don't make it vs depreciation. Changing a car after a year is simply the worst decision financially. Of course, if you can't resist...

2014 Toyota Corolla LE air conditioning, behaviors or problems?

We've heard some complaining that the AC is slow (couple of minutes) to blow cold air upon start (every car I've had did that) but nothing like what you describe. Maybe there IS a leak somewhere. AC is a tricky repair.
