2011 Corolla - Why 35 PSI for Low Tire Pressure?

A good protocol to follow, in my opinion. "Trust, but verify" is always the best advice. Well done.

2011 Corolla - Why 35 PSI for Low Tire Pressure?

TPMS light came on last year, and all I did was fill all tires to equal pressure, and the light went off on its own. I think the monitoring is a balance of pressures, so when one tire pressure is down, the light will go on. Once the balance is within some sort of range, it will satisfy the...

    2009 Climate Control

In my '09 Corolla, it seems the side vents emit air no matter if the dial is set to 0. For years, auto makers have engineered at least some air to be pumped into the cabin for the sake of safety. When set to 0, air is emitted from my car's side vents, but the center vents shut off completely...

2014 Corolla - Need Suspension Info

You have a brand new Corolla, and I say buy the aftermarket springs and kits made for it. I personally see no good use of going on the cheap with this one. Eibach spring kits seem to be what people get for a proper fit. Do this right, and you'll be happier (and probably safer on the road).

New Here With a Corolla and Advice

If you want to increase power and mileage (even if just a little), then go with a free-flowing air intake filter replacement from, say, K&N. Perhaps a set of replacement spark plugs will help. From what I've heard, the best parts for Toyotas are made by Denso. Really, if your 'Rolla is running...

    Scion iM Concept

Anyone see the Scion iM concept photos yet? Looks like we're going to (finally) get a Corolla... er, uh, an Auris hatchback, courtesy of Scion. Car and Driver have sneak-peak photos of it here: Scion iM Concept If you haven't yet seen an Auris (European version of the Corolla), see it here...

    2011 S - Stock Radio Problems

No doubt the dealer wrecked it before putting it out for sale, or while out for sale was hit and damaged. Common practice, I think, for dealers to cover their mistakes. And as such, the damage will not appear on a CarFax report. My advice? Trade it in for a car you'll enjoy. You're probably...

HarrisYypeS, it was my pleasure in describing to you my favorite of the three colors you mentioned. Enjoy your new car!

    Interior Scratches 2012 Corolla

Go to an automotive paint shop. They'll have what you need to touch them up. You'll most likely have to remove the panels, but that should be easy enough for you to do. No way in the world would you want to try the touch-up with them still in the car!

    2013 Type S Color

Go with the white. Corollas really look good in white. I have an '09 S in Barcelona Red, and the color is my favorite. But, I've seen one in both black and white, and I gotta tell ya, white ROCKS!

    New 2013 LE

As for "Modern Technology", use it when you NEED it. Good heavens, the stuff is there to HELP us; but when we OVERLY RELY on it, it'll bite us. Case in point: One of my wife's cousins used today's tech to find his way to a reunion picnic a couple of years ago. He made it to a point a mere 3.5...

How Do I Change the Door Locks Not to Unlock When Going Into Park?

Worked for me; am unable to understand why this method did not work for others. Anyway, that's my answer. Cheers

    Halo LED Projector HELP Please

Ahmadissa162, WHY do you want these? As far as I've heard, these sorts of lights work very well FOR AWHILE, and usually need replacement sooner than you'd think. Is it NECESSARY you have them? Are the stock lights inferior for your purposes? Have a conversation with yourself, and ask WHY it is...

    Feeling Used?

I hear ya, Scott. Whether people believe it or not, their responses mean a great deal to others who may have similar issues, and wish to know what to do about them.
