    Mobil1 AFE 0w20 at Walmart... $25/5qt jug. Can't beat that. The other major synthetics are approximately the same in price but US TGMO is very similar to the AFE since they also blend it for Toyota.

    In my experience, they do not work. Nor does using Premium in my Corolla. But it won't hurt either.

    I'm pretty new here. I was wondering after browsing many of the threads... Is this board about Corolla's or Amsoil? I keep seeing so much Amsoil marketing that it's pretty funny. Don't get me wrong, great product but it feels like hijacking.

    Unless you're out of warranty and want to extend your drain interval past 10-15k miles, there is no need for Amsoil. To many excellent oils on the mkt that conform to Toyota's maximum 10k mile interval. If extending past that, get a few UOA done to get a better understanding of how the oil...

    This is an economy not performance car. Premium fuel will not enhance the driving dynamics or increase hp. But there's also nothing wrong with using it if that's your preferred octane.
