If you wanna pour thousands and thousands of dollars into a Corolla motor, please, do so....I was only attempting to shed light in the cvt handling capabilities. And if the cvt in a WRX and sti can handle their 300 hp, it should be fine if yours ever sees 300.

No. The shift knob is one piece. There is a chrome ring stitched into the top of the boot. It is channeled and "clicks " into the bottom of the factory knob. The new knob lacks these channels therefore the factory boot cannot click into the bottom of it. If you have a 2014 automatic Corolla you...
