Getting a P0420 code so I'd like to check my sensor. I can't find if there are two of them or just one on a 2005 and if it's inline or under the hood. Does anyone know?

Been noticing this lately (keep in mind this is Canadian winter). When I first turn the car on, it smells like unburned gas when sitting in the driver's seat. The smell goes away almost as soon as you start to drive but it's quite apparent when first turned on. ANy ideas?

I've got at it. I don't see any way of repairing the cheap ass plastic that broke in the compartment. The bulb however is accessible but I don't know where to get s replacement.

I've opened it up. You can take off the Low High knob and there's a screw under it. I got the whole front off and am at the bulbs but have no idea where to find a replacement.

The lights behind the temp control, specifically the knob that adjusts where the fan is blowing (defrost, head, feet, whatever). It's lit up everywhere else but you can tell whatever bulb lights that up lights up half of the Off, Low, High knob too because it's only partially lit. I guess what...

Got it checked out, was a small exhaust leak paired with deteriorating wheel bearings. Wheels are still good for a bit but they're starting to go.

There's a site for it? How do you program a key with no input holes like USB and stuff?

I'm quite confident at this point that it's an exhaust leak of some kind. Either the manifold gasket or the gasket between the catalytic converter and the exhaust. The utter lack of performance issues leads me to believe this as well as I used to have an old Ranger and it had an exhaust problem...

Yep that was my plan. Gonna try to get the trunk lock from the yard with the key but since its one of those stupid anti-start keys( or whatever theyre called) they charge extra for it but oh well.

Yeah that was my first though but there are no performance issues and no wobbling or extra noise when turning the wheel. And it is still loud when idling. I was thinking exhaust but it wouldn't explain the wheedling noise on deceleration.

I do but it doesn't work without the lock. I managed to bypass it by ty-wrapping it to the trunk but that will only last so long.

Could it be that my key sucks and is old? It's kind of twisted and dulled but it still works in the ignition.

Sorry, but I believe it would need to be longer wouldn't it? The problem is the top of the bolt hole is stripped, if I put the old bolt in (without the coil) it screws in fine, so I think I would just need a longer bolt.

Changed my plugs today and now the two inside bolts won't go back into their holes. The top of the holes are stripped but a longer bolt would hold. Any idea where to get longer 10 mm bolts that will fit the hole? I assume not any kind will do because it may be fine-threaded or something like...
