From a safety perspective, that is precisely the intention. By flashing several times, the light catches the attention of the diver behind you. Living in Atlanta, that should be required by law LOL! Too many distracted drivers here IMO.

Has anybody been able to access the third brake light? I haven't found any solution. Odd thing is, during the winter, while the cabin was cold , those buttons would work, but as soon as the cabin would warm up, they would stop working. So no that we're in spring, they're not working. I don't know what's causing this issue.

I ended up buying the shades from carlasershades.com. They have an office in California and they shipped them from there. I should received them on Monday. They only offer in the U.S. the two magnetic shades for the rear windows and the shade for the entire rear windshield. I will post pictures...

Why? Are they not magnetic? I found these other ones that seem to be of much better quality: http://www.carlasershades.com They do ship to the US, and I contacted them, but they only offer the two rear windows and the rear windshield (which is a plus). But they ask $169 plus shipping and tax.

I ended up buying these at Amazon, but they don't cover the whole front window, and the rear window is only covered with the exception of the little triangle in the back. But they are magnetic and will stick to the frame of the windows...
