Sadly, outside of spending ridiculous $ to modify it. if you truly "love speed", you made a mistake buying an 11th Gen Corolla. Cut your losses and find something that will fit your wants. Why not wait for the Yaris GRMN, that should be a very nice, factory engineered, hothatch.

Removed mine as well. The only thing they did was scrape on concrete parking stops. Good riddance.

87 from any Top Tier distributor near my home. Those would be, Shell, Costco, Marathon and Chevron. The manual states "87 or higher". Higher octanes will not alter a thing... positvely or negatively.

They are Toyota's attempt to gain every last inch of mpg, and I'm sure they work as planned. I'm also willing to sacrifice said miniscule mpg improvements for a cleaner look and care free front-in parking.

Octane level has no effect on a car sitting for long periods. Nor does every car benefit from higher octane when made to run on 87 "or higher". Some very high compression Turbo GDi equipped vehicles are having issue maintaining spark control and knock retardation and thus may benefit. But this...
