I have a set of Yokohama tires on my girlfriend's 2010, and they've been great to her. As far as shutting off the beeping, I believe that a dealer can disable that, but don't take my word for it. Might have to call and ask them.

I'll keep the '14 as a daily, or I'll teach my girl how to drive a stick so that she can move from the 2010 to the 2014.

Weird, it isn't rocket science to do. Might have to start looking at body shops. They would be more than happy to do it for you. Sometimes weatherstrip comes right out when the window is down ... other times you need to remove the door panel and possibly the side-view mirror.

We contacted the Better Business Bureau and they sent the used car dealership where my girl got her a car a letter. Owener called me up wanting to know why I did it. "Honor the warranty you told us at sale or go f yourself".

I never heard of it either, and yeah ... that is why they call them stealerships.

The 2009 to 2011 Corolla S had the anemic oil-burning 2.4 ... but Toyota ditched that engine a long time ago.

I wonder how the dealer in Minnesota is selling them so cheap. I'd have to know more about how the factory extended warranties tie into dealerships before I make a statement that would have any sort of validity.
