Those are imbedded LED. You would have to take the cluster apaart and remove the LEDs and re-solder the new ones on. Cost you what the LEDs would plus labor.

You would have to completely remove the dashboard and look at all of the wiring for shorts. I agree with Scott here as well. There is also the potential that a component using that circuit is drawing too much current due to wear and tear. I had a Mercury Topaz that kept burning the ground wire...

I agree with Scott. Have a shop look at it before you dump money into the engine. A bad timing chain guide would cause the engine to run rough and miss. If it isn't doing that, the chain isn't the issue.

It isn't the alternator I would be worried about, it is the engine sitting for so long that components lose their lubrication when you first start the motor back up, causing metal to grind until oil gets there. Even if you don't drive it much, start it up at least once a month and let the engine...

Synthetic oil adheres to metal and itself better, which keeps the top end of the motor better lubricated at cold start up over dino oil. You also get better mileage. So yeah, you saved on the oil changes, but now you're burning more fuel than you need to.
