    Nokya Fog Light Bulb Replacement

It isn't listed on the Amazon site, but Nokya lists it as H8/H9/H11/H16 Type 2 compatible. That is the correct part number and the connections and bulb will fit in the socket. I'm playing guinea pig for us, but I'm excited to try them out. Just a shame fog...

Improved LED Reverse Lights and LED Tail/Brake Lights

Cree LED ended the idea that LEDs don't throw far. I'm betting our headlights are Cree.

    Change Lights Behind Dash Gauges?

Those are imbedded LED. You would have to take the cluster apaart and remove the LEDs and re-solder the new ones on. Cost you what the LEDs would plus labor.

    Gauge Fuse Keeps Blowing

You would have to completely remove the dashboard and look at all of the wiring for shorts. I agree with Scott here as well. There is also the potential that a component using that circuit is drawing too much current due to wear and tear. I had a Mercury Topaz that kept burning the ground wire...

    Timing Belt or Timing Chain?

I agree with Scott. Have a shop look at it before you dump money into the engine. A bad timing chain guide would cause the engine to run rough and miss. If it isn't doing that, the chain isn't the issue.

How Often Do You Change Your Oil?

It isn't the alternator I would be worried about, it is the engine sitting for so long that components lose their lubrication when you first start the motor back up, causing metal to grind until oil gets there. Even if you don't drive it much, start it up at least once a month and let the engine...

    2000 Corolla VE Maintenance

Synthetic oil adheres to metal and itself better, which keeps the top end of the motor better lubricated at cold start up over dino oil. You also get better mileage. So yeah, you saved on the oil changes, but now you're burning more fuel than you need to.

    2000 Corolla VE Maintenance

Hit it with PB Catalyst (assuming the exhaust is cold) and let it soak in for an hour or so. Then go at it with a good breaker bar (or you can join two combination wrenches together as a cheater extension, I've done that many times). When you put the new one on, add a thin film of anti-sieze...

2012 Corolla LE -Looking for Feedback on Steering

Heh, I started out driving a 1982 Mustang GT. My first new car was a 2003 Ford Focus. Bought it and drove that around for a while, then decided to get back into the Mustang, and wow. I felt like I was summoning super-human strength to push the clutch in to start the car back up. Then a...

LED Fog Lights - I Might Give Them a Try

Annnnnnd they are ordered. I have a group project this month so I am not sure when I'll have the time to install them, but I will get before and after pictures, and see how the beam pattern is in a dark area.
