    2014 S vs. S Plus?

S has 16'' steel wheels with rear drums while S+ has 17'' alloys with rear discs That's about it. Of the two models, only the S+ had options like sat, nav, moon roof, smart key and manual transmission.

    2014 (or 2015) LE Suspension/interior vs. S (plus)

Sound more like an "L", the basic stripped budget/entry price point version. The LE and S share the same touchscreen radio with back-up camera (navigation optional on both). Higher versions of both also have auto-climate, not knobs. L and LE have the same three pods instrument cluster, though...

    Racing with a Corolla S

^This^ . I too would like some documented information from Toyota about the alleged difference in "completely" between current button and old dyna-mode. Toyota seems pretty clear in its main documentation. Even the case of the FRS/BRZ is no mystery : the button for VSC ils labelled "VDC sport"...

    2014 s with acceleration issues

$6,300 is way over the top... I wonder if they even look at what could have been done (fluid, solenoid replacement, calibration via the ECU if wrong) before. $1,300 is more in line. Some dealers don't get it. It's not that it is "sealed". Actually, CVTs are quite simple but they require...

    Racing with a Corolla S

I’m talking about “Launch Control” or “Launch assist”, the electronic nanny that compensate driver’s mistakes to get the fastest possible take-off in some high-end sports cars. No button, but engaged via some pedal/shift manipulation either to give the driver a sense of engagement or to prevent...

2015 Corolla Stereo will only play one MP3 on a thumb drive

Upon start, the unit does an inventory of the drive that may takes up to a couple of minutes, depending. During that period you'll see only one song (the current that was playing the last time and/or the first ever recorded on the drive if the last one is over). After that short delay you...

    Racing with a Corolla S

One indicate "TC off", the other "VSC off". The third one inform the driver when one or both systems intervenes. So no way nor need to put it off if the systems are off. The pedal trick is for car with launch assist. This is a Corolla, not a Corvette or Veyron. Funny, though, how some people...

Tire pressure and Windshield washer fluid

That's a good idea, assuming that the "75%" below capacity is accurate. The only documentation from Toyota says it comes on when "air pressure is critically low". Unlike a screen indicating actual pressure in each tire, a TPMS light isn't that precise and its main purpose is to catch your...

2014 Corolla radion won't play all the songs from flash drive

You are right. Name them and organize them as you wish. Just avoid long names and no more than 255 files by folder. With or without touch screen the principle remain the same and you'll have to choose which folder to play. But then, by the way, your model isn't an "LE" but a "L".

2014 Corolla radion won't play all the songs from flash drive

Don't worry ! The unit can manage 9,999 songs on a single drive. I personally have a 32GB drive with close to 4,000 songs, no problem ! The thing is your songs are probably not organized in folders. There is a limitation of 255 songs by folder. If they are "in bulk" on the key without being...

Tire pressure and Windshield washer fluid

No actual pressure. Just a warning light.

    Sound issue

Is that via the volume knob or the car setting on the touchscreen ? If so, try the latter

    2014 Corolla Automatic Climate Control

But that's not a problem as it would do it to maintain the set temp. Even on the lowest setting it might do that if the exterior temp drops below some point (think when AC gets on in winter, to help defog). Beside, using the fan speed to control the temp is mainly what the auto mode does.

    Blinker Fluid Help

You almost feel sorry for the lady... but this prank is actually all marketing techniques : an unfamiliar context, a sure yet compassionate tone of voice, expert "explanation", the security argument... Don't we all fall for it at one time or another ? Politic, consuming, think about it : those...

    2014 Corolla Automatic Climate Control

Then you have your answer ! If you use AC only when it's hot, indeed "recirculate" is programmed as it is the most efficient way to cool the car (otherwise the compressor is constantly struggling to cool new hot air). Some makes even label this button as " MAX AC". If it was programed the other...

    2014 Corolla Automatic Climate Control

Auto doesn't always recirculate. Only to improve efficiency when exterior air is very hot. On mine, recirculate doesn't engage when exterior temperature is below around 20C (68F). Beside, you may either cancel recirculate or put auto "off" and control the system manually.

    Blinker Fluid Help

Yes... your blinkers will blink so fast that they'll look as if your parking lights are on. Personally I rather use STP On another note, maybe we have too much free time.

    2014 Corolla Automatic Climate Control

Baloney. Wether the functions are selected automatically or manually, they remain the same. Turning up or down the temp button shouldn't affect the temperature of the air blowing but the speed/duration of the fan in auto. If "auto" doesn't work properly vs manual, then maybe the cabin...

Tire pressure and Windshield washer fluid

TPMS light up at the programmed air pressure. If it's not correct, you could inflate your tire to desired specs then reset the system (procedure in owner manual). Washer fluid on my Corolla goes on when there's almost nothing left in the reservoir.

High gas consumption when using Manual, is this normal?

As klinetime574 said. It's just an extrapolation. Any take off, sport or not, will kill that extrapolation. It take a whole tank to judge. And, of course, any "sportier" driving in those cars will affect MPG. Event 80 mph vs 70 mph makes a significant difference.
